The meeting will be held in the gastrobar “Ikra” on September 18 at 19.00

The purpose of the meeting: to invite everyone to the world of sails, sea, travel and regattas.

The main questions that we will cover at this meeting:

– How to try a yacht trip and how much does it cost? Is it possible to fight seasickness?

– What path do you have to take if you want to become a captain? What types of licenses exist in the world and how do yacht schools differ from each other? What are their disadvantages and advantages? What does an IYT license allow you to do and what levels of training does an IYT school offer? How to get a Spanish license?

– How to find a job in the yachting industry? What services are more in demand? What documents do you need to have to start working in the yachting industry? The path from a sailor to a captain.

– What is more profitable: buying or renting a yacht? Which regions are more popular for yacht charter? What is the price level for yacht rental and what does it depend on? Let’s consider our region in the Gibraltar area. What do you need to go on a round-the-world trip or participate in regattas?

Who we are?

The “Ocean Master Club” yacht school and club is a certified IYT yacht school. Licensed for all levels of recreational certificate training. The training base is located in Sotogrande. The main activities: captain training, organizing trips, regattas, ferrying yachts around the world.

The meeting is held by yacht captain-instructor Alexey Trofimov.

Yachting experience since 1986

Qualification: Master of Yacht 200 tonn Unlimited, Yachtmaster Ocean instructor.

Regions covered: USA, Canada, Australia, Madagascar, Seychelles, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, Brazil, Caribbean, French Polynesia, Mediterranean Sea, North Sea, Baltic Sea.

Multiple crossings of the Atlantic Ocean. Experience in preparing teams and yachts for transatlantic crossings. Experience in organizing regattas in different regions of our planet.

The meeting will be held in Russian, you can also ask questions in English and get an answer!
