Docking Master Class.

The practical course for captains of different levels, to practice mooring skills in different conditions.

All students will receive a mooring check list, where all the points of the master class are written down.

In this master class we will practice and study the following questions::

1. Practicing stern, bow and beam mooring.
2. Mooring in a restricted space.
3. Nuances of handling different types of yachts, how does its design affect the yacht’s handling?
4. Taking into account the influence of wind and current on the yacht’s handling.
5. Preparing the yacht for mooring.
6. Preparing the crew for mooring.
7. Developing a mooring plan, developing a plan B in case the main plan fails.
8. Working with springs and mooring lines.
9. Mooring in the dark time.
10. Common mistakes when mooring.
