Our route

  • Sotogrande
  • (Spain) - One of the largest and most protected marinas in Andalusia. These places were favored by the English aristocracy. Beautiful villas adorn the canals, which are somewhat reminiscent of Venice.

  • Gibraltar/La Linea
  • (UK) - The main thing that catches the eye from almost anywhere is the famous Rock of Gibraltar. Mount Tariqa, as it was once called by the Moors, seems to magnetize those who see it for the first time. It is very difficult to tear oneself away from contemplating this natural giants 426 meters high, covered with dense green vegetation on one side and steep limestone cliffs on the other. Gibraltar is called one of Hercules' Pillars according to ancient legends. The ancient fortress has changed hands more than once during numerous wars. Gibraltar is a beacon signaling the location of the Strait of Gibraltar, which separates Europe from Africa and provides the only link between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

  • Tangier
  • (Morocco Africa) A major port city in Morocco. The narrow streets of Medina will immerse you in the atmosphere of Arab culture. Here time seems to stand still. In small shops you can see not only sellers, but also representatives of many crafts. And only men work and trade. From the fortress opens a magnificent view of Tarifa and the coast of Europe. Tangier is located at the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The modern marina welcomes yachtsmen, but be prepared to spend time to go through all customs and immigration formalities.

  • Barbate
  • (Spain) Spain's tuna Mecca. Here there are tuna artels that are engaged in tuna fishing. It is necessary to visit a tuna restaurant, where you will find dozens of dishes from different parts of this fish. And to drink your dense dinner you will be offered tuna beer or champagne from tuna. Modern and very comfortable, opposite is the cemetery of anchors. Literally a few miles away is Cape Trafalgar, where the famous battle between British and Franco-Spanish naval forces took place. In which Admiral Nelson was mortally wounded.

  • Cadiz
  • (Spanish territory on the Atlantic Ocean) Known locally as the "silver cup". A long tongue of earth connects this city to the continent. An earthen gate in the 17th century wall provides access to the oldest city in the West. The cathedral is Baroque and neoclassical in style. Plaza San Juan de Dios, above which the City Hall stands, is a white neoclassical building with a façade turned toward the harbor. Plaza de las Flores and Candelaria. Inside the Church of Prayers to the Virgin Mary are sculptures of St. Servando and St. Herman, the patrons of the city. Very close to here is La Mina Square, next to which is the Baroque church of St. Francis. The poplar alleys of Apodaca and Marques de Comillas lead to the church of Carmen in a distinctly colonial style. From there, where the Candelaria Battery is located behind the church, there is a beautiful view of the bay of Cadiz, studded with ships entering and leaving the port. The castles of Santa Catalina and San Sebastian are located on either side.

  • Ceuta
  • (Spanish territory on the African continent). A port city in the northern part of the African continent. An autonomous city of Spain. The city was founded by Phoenicians in the 7th century BC, since 429th year the city was occupied by Vandals, then Byzantines, Visigoths, Visigoths, Arabs. In 1415 the city fell into the possession of the Portuguese. In 1580 Spain seized Portugal, and with it Ceuta. Morocco tried to take possession of the city, but the attempts were unsuccessful. The status of an autonomous city Ceuta received in 1995. The royal walls, municipal palace, cathedral, church, mosque and fortress are impressive in architecture.

  • Marbella
  • (Spain) - An upmarket resort town with a charming historic center. Here it is pleasant to wander through narrow streets leading to small squares. The most beautiful of them is the "Orange Square" with a XVII century fountain and citrus trees. From the old town to the seaside promenade leads a picturesque alley (Paseo de Alameda) and the Marine Avenue (Avenida del Mar), where ten original bronze sculptures of Salvador Dali are located in the open air.
